Mrs. Ryder (STEAM)

Hello! I am excited to be a part of the Winfield 34 team. My educational career began on figure skates, teaching basic skills to skaters of all ages while working on my elementary education degree at Western Michigan University. In 2005, I started teaching 5th grade and have also taught 3rd, 4th, 7th, and 8th grade. I completed my masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Technology from Lewis University in 2012. From 2013 through 2021, I was an instructional coach in both elementary and middle school supporting 1:1 technology integration, best practices, and instructional strategies. Starting in 2022, I made the decision to reenter the classroom as a long term substitute teacher. As an Apple Distinguished Educator (Class of 2015), I collaborate with educators across the globe, create content for teachers, and publish these resources as a free download in the Apple Books store.
